With the advent of UHD 4K technology in the surveillance industry, user experience has improved exponentially over the last decade. Most users enjoy crisp and clean images generated by the recorders that can output 4K UHD on the HDMI connection. Many of these recorders can also convert lower-resolution images into 4K with upconverting technology. With all this new technology, user experience is at an all-time high, but there are still many items on the market that failed to meet the UHD requirements. Many of the items that are deployed in the field use inferior components like poor quality lenses and chipsets that create noise on the image. Much like everything else in electronics, you get what you pay for.
